Navarro assures that the current program of promotion of agricultural employment, for which maintenance brigades have been created with the hiring of long-term unemployed at the proposal of the PSOE, is still "insufficient" to maintain throughout the year the municipality of Lorca and , especially, the districts that suffer the greatest abandonment
The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Antonio Navarro considers necessary to extend the maintenance brigades throughout the year, and not just four months as has been the current program of promotion of agricultural employment.
Navarro says that the second largest municipal area in Spain "needs permanent maintenance" and not "temporary".
In the first place, to give employment stability to this group, and second, to ensure continued maintenance of the municipality throughout the year.
Navarro celebrates that the City Council of Lorca has followed the recommendations of the PSOE, and has launched the maintenance brigades that the socialists since 2015, have repeatedly claimed in an "insistent" manner.
Therefore, Antonio Navarro hopes that the implementation of these brigades "is not a mirage more with the intention of the Popular Party to fill headlines of the press" and, reiterates, that its continuity is contemplated for the year 2018.
To make this maintenance effective, the Socialists demand the Mayor to take into account this new consideration of the PSOE and enable sufficient budget to maintain these brigades throughout the year.
