Last weekend two teams of IES students Francisco Ros Giner participated in the Spanish Championship of School Guidance Centers that took place in the dehesas of the Extremaduran municipality of Barcarrota.
The children's team won third place in the general classification.
It was composed of María and Lucía García Peñas, Elena Gil Moreno, Cristina Pérez Mulero and María Martínez Castellar.
Also noteworthy is the performance of the male cadet team consisting of Cesar López Plazas, Iván Guijarro Llamas, Germán González Riquelme, Juan Ferrando Serrano and Ignacio Ballesteros Quiñonero.
They classified in fifth place to a single point of the fourth place.
During the days of November 18 and 19 the teams of students competed with other educational centers throughout the national geography.
Two intense days of competition to demonstrate the physical and technical level of the students and thus add the highest number of points to the corresponding teams.
From the educational center is still betting on an interdisciplinary education, in which physical exercise and sports occupies an important place in their educational project given the benefits that these activities bring to the cognitive and motor development of their students.
