The third motion presented by this Municipal Group in the ordinary full next Monday has to do with a savings plan for this City Council, in relation to certain services that are being supplied through bidding processes to companies.
With quite regularity Antonio Meca has been able to observe in the obligations of payment of the Local Government Boards, that "there is a service that has been repeating - Rental of generating equipment - used to supply electricity in parties of districts above all and in certain events".
The groups or equipment generators (generators of electricity) are used for the electrical feeding of spectacles that require a power that does not provide the conventional line, above all concerts.
It has been noted exorbitant accounts of this service in the last three years: € 33,121.28 in 2015, € 27,390.77 in 2016 and € 10,617.48 in 2017.
Meca explains that "in a single tender procedure for the hiring of this service with the guarantees required by law, different offers would have been received that would have meant better economic conditions and great savings for the City of Lorca."
The Councilor for Citizens will even propose the possibility of buying these generators, since the purchase price ranges between 8,000 and 12,000 euros, and only with what was spent in 2015 (€ 33,000) three could have been purchased, not spending again that amount every year.
"The will of this Municipal Group is the best economic management of public funds, seeking not only legality but transparency," says Meca.
