The Socialists once again bring to the Plenary the voice of the residents of La Viña affected by the many deficiencies that resulted after the execution "in a hurry and running" that the PP made of the regeneration works of this neighborhood after the earthquakes.
The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has presented the motion with which the Socialists will again require the PP to repair each and every one of the flaws they committed with the execution "in a hurry and running" of the works of regeneration of La Viña after earthquakes.
Mateos recalls that now "just one year", the PSOE presented a "similar" motion in the Plenary, demanding the review and repair of the "multiple" deficiencies that appeared after the works in La Viña.
The Socialist spokesman claims that, twelve months later and despite the motion was approved unanimously, the Popular Party "little or nothing" has done, he says, to correct the deficiencies that continue to support the residents of this neighborhood.
It is, therefore, "another motion" that the PSOE takes to plenary for the good of the neighbors, and that the Popular Party approves and then "keep it in the drawer and do nothing."
Mateos has listed the "aberrations" that, in the form of "botched", resulted after the works of 2015 and that, to this day, the neighbors still suffer.
The Socialist Spokesperson stressed that the electrical transformers of the Plaza de los Oficios are "in the same situation", that is, "on the surface and surrounded by an unsightly fence" which, he recalls, "was done against the neighbors and they promised that they would be buried ".
In addition, buried garbage containers "still do not work".
Nor has there been a solution to the "tangle" of wiring that remains visible and unburied throughout the neighborhood.
Mateos has also asked for a solution to the sports track, whose floor and furniture is "very deteriorated."
The park of La Viña, says, is the "center" of the municipal neglect and regrets that this installation "the largest in the city" presents a "sorry" image.
Mateos considers that it must be refurbished, accompanied by the repair of the Las Musas fountain and the replacement of the trees that have been disappearing, precisely because of the lack of maintenance.
Mateos has also referred to the problem because of the humidity that has appeared in garages and ground floors that, he warns, "before the works did not exist".
Remember also the discomfort among the neighbors for the rearrangement of parking spaces in the area.
To solve these flaws, the PSOE requires the PP to recognize and correct the mistakes they made "because the welfare of the neighbors is at stake".
Remember that all these deficiencies had to be corrected by the company that committed them.
However, and now that the PP has given rise to the deadline of the guarantee of these works, they ask that the budget items needed to undertake these actions be enabled.

On the other hand, Mateos recalled that residents of La Salud and Cristo Rey are still waiting for the start of the promised refurbishment works in their neighborhood, after the regeneration of this area was forgotten and, incomprehensibly, it was not will execute after the improvement works carried out in 2015 in the neighborhood of La Viña or in Alfonso X and San José.
From the PSOE believe that it is time to take advantage of the delay in the awarding of the renovation project of the urban network of La Salud and Cristo Rey to open a real process of participation in which neighbors and merchants can enrich the project and prevent errors in the planning and execution of the works committed in other neighborhoods of the city are repeated, due to lack of municipal supervision and because of not attending to the opinions and suggestions of those who, in the end, will be those who enjoy the result of these works .
The PSOE insists: while the PP does not give up the lots, Sanidad will have the perfect excuse not to build the new health center in San Cristóbal
The socialists will ask at what point are the steps taken by the City of Lorca to search, purchase and / or transfer the land necessary for the construction of the new health center in San Cristóbal.
Mateos remembers that while the PP continues looking for lots, the PSOE already proposed up to five possible locations, so they do not understand the delay.
The PSOE requires the opening of the study rooms promised 24 hours a day
