Next Tuesday, September 16, is the date of the extraordinary plenary session that the Socialists have forced in search of a triple objective: to analyze past works to avoid repeating mistakes;

increase the control and supervision of the works that are currently being executed, and get a greater participation of the neighbors in the design and planning of pending works

The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has requested access and consultation of 26 works records, with the aim of monitoring the status of completion of the works already completed, the projects that are currently being executed and those whose realization is still pending.

This is one of the steps that the socialists are taking, within the full monographic that they have forced with the signature of the eight councilors of the PSOE, and with which they will force the current Mayor and his team to give explanations about the state of the city with the works and the "chaos" generated by the "null planning".

Mateos ensures that the purpose of the extraordinary plenary session, for which there is already a date (January 16), is to pursue a "triple intention": to analyze the completion of the works already executed, to increase the control and supervision of the projects that are being executed in the present, and schedule pending works to achieve better planning and coordination.

Mateos wants that next Tuesday's plenary session serve so that the Mayor and his team take charge of solving the damage that still remains in neighborhoods such as La Viña, Alfonso X, San Jose or San Diego, with the aim of seeing what failures are they committed and prevented them from repeating themselves, and of course, requiring companies to correct the faults that still cause inconveniences to neighbors and merchants.

Diego José Mateos is also concerned about the current state of execution of works such as Avenida Juan Carlos I, Alameda de Cervantes or the "so problematic" remodeling of Los Angeles and Apolonia.

Mateos continues to miss "more control and greater supervision" by the municipal and regional administration.

The Socialist responsible ensures that if those responsible were "over the works" the errors and, above all, the inconvenience to neighbors and merchants "would have been much less."

Similarly, the works in Santa Quiteria, Cristo Rey, Santa Clara, San Cristobal, San Fernando, or the evacuation road in the city's upper neighborhoods, as well as those whose projects are practically "to be done", such as the remodeling of Jerónimo Santa Fe, Avenida Europa, San Antonio, double level pass included, Camino Viejo del Puerto, Carretera de Caravaca.

In this case, the ultimate goal, and the one that most worries the socialists, is to check what planning the government team has to start these works whose financing can be "in the air", if we take into account that the European Investment Bank brand of term on December 31, 2018 to justify its completion of these works that, in the absence of 11 months "have not yet begun."

Mateos insists on betting on the revitalization of the Historic District through an "ambitious and courageous" strategic plan

Diego José Mateos views with concern the "paralysis" and the "lack of concern" of the Popular Party when it comes to facing a true and strategic revitalization of the Historic Quarter of the city.

Mateos continues to miss the development and implementation of an "ambitious and courageous" recovery plan from the "commercial, residential, tourist and administrative" point of view.
