Sandra Martinez explained that "the Local Public Employment program is intended for the hiring, by the City Council, of unemployed workers to carry out works and services of general and social interest, the objective of which is to implement it. acquisition of work experience and improvement of the employability of long-term unemployed people registered in the employment offices and included in the Joint Action Program for long-term unemployed (PAC-PLD), as well as the promotion of activity in those Local sectors where new needs are detected The pre-selection of candidates is carried out by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) ".

" they can benefit a total of 21 Lorca long-term unemployed and both come into operation next March and will last for 6 months.The programs have a subsidy of 240,000 euros and a municipal contribution of 25,409 euros. "

Martinez has indicated that "of the first program," Advice and administrative support to different municipal departments ", will benefit 10 workers, of which 1 will be a lawyer and 9 administrative assistants, which will consist of legal and legal advice, as well as, in the administrative support to different municipal agencies in the processing of files, justification of grants and subsidies, file of documentation and other administrative tasks before the large accumulation of aid files received by the different administrations for the reconstruction of Lorca.

The Local Development Council has added that "regarding the initiative" Improvement of the urban scene and degraded areas of the municipality of Lorca ", the actions to be carried out will consist of the repair of paving on public roads, placement of street furniture (benches, litter bins, railings, handrails on ramps ...), repair of metal elements, maintenance of road markings on signs and repainting of urban furniture.This program will benefit 11 workers of which 4 will be official first-class bricklayers , 1 official locksmith of first, 2 official painters of first and 4 official masons of second ".
