The PSOE begins to collect signatures to hire the necessary staff to enable two health teams, independent, in the morning and afternoon, so that it is possible to split the health areas San Diego and San Cristóbal, taking advantage of the dependencies of the Health Center of San Diego, to redistribute in them the total of the cards between the two shifts, from 8 in the morning to 22 at night.
Begins the collection of signatures with which the PSOE continues to work to find solutions to the overcrowding of patients that occurs, daily, in the health center Lorca-San Diego, the most saturated in the entire Region of Murcia.
Only during the first hour of this morning, have been more than a hundred neighbors who have supported this proposal, which shows the interest of users of the center and the good reception that this petition has had among citizens.
Sánchez Jódar announces that during this month, they will set up collection points in the vicinity of the San Diego health center.
In particular, he says, they will collect signatures several days a week and also, announces that during the next few days they will hold meetings with associations and interested groups, in order to draw up a joint work agenda with which to gather the maximum possible support to achieve solutions to the saturation of the San Diego health center.
The Socialists want that the current dependencies of San Diego serve so that, the users of the future health center of San Cristóbal, begin to pass consultation "already" in the afternoons.
For this purpose, they propose that two independent personnel teams be enabled, in morning and afternoon hours, to redistribute the total number of primers between the two shifts, and that, in this way, the current health center offers service of 8 in the morning to the 22 hours at night.
From the PSOE insist that this measure they propose must be "provisional and transitory" while not build the future health center Lorca-San Cristóbal.
Sánchez Jódar assures that the saturation that occurs daily in the San Diego consultations is "unbearable" and that the users of this center can not continue paying the consequences of the "incapacity" and "slowness" of the current Mayor, who still "keep looking" for the necessary land in which to locate the new health center.
Therefore, through its collection of signatures, the PSOE also claims to the City of Lorca that "immediately" make available the necessary plot to facilitate the start of construction of the new health center in the neighborhood.
Sánchez Jódar insists that while the PP of Lorca still does not offer the land, Sanidad will have the perfect excuse not to allocate "a penny" to the works of the health center of San Cristóbal.
In addition, with this initiative, the PSOE also calls for the adequacy of pediatric consultations in the facilities of the former SUAP.
It is a project "promised" by the Ministry of Health since 2016 and that continues without being initiated while "urgent" its implementation.
