They ask the Mayor and the Councilor for Economy to stop treating Lorca as sheep, thinking that they can believe the first thing they think of saying.
The Socialists say that, by assessments such as today, the PP government team continues to show signs of political exhaustion.
From the Municipal Socialist Group they assure "not to give credit" after the valuation that the Mayor and the councilman of Property did this morning on the state of the municipal debt in the City council of Lorca.
Abellán assures that, in view of the declarations of the Mayor and the councilor of Economy, the conclusion is that in the government team of the PP "they have put so much on the municipal debt that they no longer know what they say, nor do they remember their own lies. "
The person in charge in economic matter of the PSOE asks "how it is possible that in January of 2017 they assured from the municipal government that the municipal debt was of 45 million, and just a year later, in January of 2018 they say now that" they have lowered so much the debt "that has gone from 45 million in 2017 to 49.2 million in 2018."
"They lied then or lie now," Abellán insists.
Similarly, they claim not to understand how it is possible that less than a month ago, the PP government team, making use of its absolute majority obtained in the courts, approved the municipal budgets with a report signed by the municipal technicians that ensured that the fiscal year 2018 started with a debt of 41 million, and just 20 days later "presumed" that the debt is 49.2 million.
Abellán has asked for seriousness and responsibility to the Mayor and the councilor of Finance in their statements.
The councilor warns that what the mayor and his council can not continue doing is treating citizens "like sheep", believing that they will believe "the first thing they can think of saying."
