The subject had stolen a lifting machine from the inside of a truck with which he tried to steal several recreational machines from nearby establishments.
The Councilor for Public Safety in the City of Lorca, María Belén Pérez, has reported that Local Police agents have arrested a person as alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force.
It is an intervention carried out by members of the Local Police Corps, agents of the UAP and UPPSC Units, framed in the preventive actions to avoid the commission of crimes.
Pérez Martínez has pointed out that the events took place last night when agents of these units were performing security surveillance work on the streets of Alameda de Cervantes.
In the same they observed two young people who walked pushing a lifting machine loaded with four recreational machines.
After noticing the police presence, they ran through different routes, leaving behind the elevator and the arcade machines, intercepting one of them and proceeding to arrest them.
The Security Edil has indicated that as a result of the fact, it was possible to verify how the lifting machine had been stolen from the inside of a truck that was parked in the vicinity and that had forced its tailgate.
Likewise, it was verified that the arcade machines had been stolen from an establishment also located in the vicinity.
The security edile has stated that the immediacy and effort of the agents resulted in the arrest of one of the individuals, who was transferred to the police premises, where he was detained for the commission of an alleged crime of robbery with force, passing together with the objects and tools that he had at his disposal.
María Belén Pérez stressed that this important action confirms the constant preventive / operational work carried out by the Local Police of Lorca through the different units in which it is organized and through the surveillance devices that are established throughout the municipality. as well as its coordination with the rest of Security Forces and Bodies.
