The constitution of the Fair Institution, to make the future Auditorium of Lorca a prestigious venue, is getting closer thanks to a motion presented by the PSOE.
The Socialists take the commitment of the government team to develop, within three months, a document that will lay the foundations of the management model of IFELOR
The second deputy spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Isidro Abellán has shown his satisfaction once they have achieved the agreement of the rest of the political forces to promote the constitution of IFELOR, the fair institution that will manage the future Auditorium and Fairground of the city of Lorca
For Abellán, IFELOR is "a key player" in Lorca's "future city project".
The Socialists managed to start the commitment so that, within three months, the government team works on the preparation of an initial proposal that lays the foundations of what will be the management model of the future fairgrounds and congresses.
Abellán is committed to a management model "professional and independent" led by a team of people "focused and committed" in making the fairground a "prestigious" institution that returns to Lorca to the regional and national reference in the organization of fairs and events of all kinds and throughout the year.
The management of the future trade fair institution remains in the air, waiting for the government team to prepare the draft, which, according to the commitments of the PSOE, will be presented within three months, and will be discussed and work by other political groups as well as the social and economic fabric involved.
In their motion, the Socialists demand that the management body is not handpicked, but is chosen through public competition, respecting the constitutional principles of equality, transparency and publicity so that it is not a new placement agency.
