Fulgencio Gil has affirmed that the project of a new, stronger and more powerful Lorca, inexcusably happens to encourage the activity of entrepreneurs with measures as a culmination of strategic works and improvement of the conditions of the autonomous regime.
The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, together with the President of Guadalentín Emprende, Miguel Ángel Sola, underlined the work carried out by young entrepreneurs and new Lorca entrepreneurs in the consolidation of economic recovery and the creation of jobs, a very positive trend that is being reflected in the different figures of the labor sphere, having as main exponent the important fall in unemployment registered during the past year.
We must remember that Lorca managed to close 2017 with the best employment data of the last 9 years, generating 542 new jobs and with a new fall in unemployment of 171 people last December.
Fulgencio Gil has pointed out that the future of employment and business activity in Lorca pivots on 3 basic issues, in which we know that we have the support of entrepreneurs Guadalentín Emprende.
Is about:
achievement of the National Water Pact that allows our entrepreneurs in the primary sector to have the water resources they need.
The uncertainty has to disappear at once and offer guarantees to Lorca.
Promotion of our industrial fabric, which is already underway with the expansion of the industrial estates of La Hoya, Saprelorca and the new slaughterhouse.
Completion of the strategic works of a new Lorca, raised among all Lorca and example of citizen participation.
As more outstanding examples in the business aspect we have to allude to the Center of Fairs and Congresses, the round of evacuation and the battery of investments in our districts.
The First Edil appreciated the contribution of Guadalentín Emprende, and stressed that the good data we are getting among all Lorca is a stimulus to continue accentuating the unquestionable subregional capital of Lorca and our role as county seat.
The project we have for our municipality, in which young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs play a decisive role, takes advantage of all the potential of Lorca to create jobs, consolidate economic growth plans and ensure that the economic diversification for which we are fighting is a palpable reality.
Fulgencio Gil has stressed that education should include from an early age the formation of entrepreneurial character, responding to the reality of our society.
We are faced with a situation that involves a change of mentality in which we try to encourage workers for rent, who are really leaders of their own project, with a vocation for development and innovation.
The Mayor has indicated that the City Council will deepen the establishment of joint actions with Guadalentín Emprende to continue moving forward together.
It should be noted that the close relationship that the Municipal Executive maintains with this association contemplates its direct participation in the Selection Commission of the Municipal Business Incubator located in La Torrecilla, as well as being part of the Jury of the Business Initiatives Contest "Ciudad de Lorca" and of the Local Board for Employment.
In addition, the Consistory has a special relationship with that entity, since they have been given a space in the Torrecilla Occupational Training Center where they have established their headquarters, as well as jointly managing a space for Coworking.
Guadalentín Emprende also has a special agreement with the Local Administration endowed with 10,000 euros thanks to which they carry out a battery of training actions, business meetings and dissemination, among others.
Fulgencio Gil has indicated, in this sense, that the City Council has been working to contribute to the growth of business activity among young people from Lorca.
Each new entrepreneur is another step forward for the entire municipality, since with their effort and dedication they make Lorca a stronger municipality.
Our commitment to the sector is firm, and today we ratify it with measures such as the maximum municipal bonus of the IAE allowed by law (50% during the first 5 years), as well as taking advantage from the Government of Spain advantages and bonuses for our self-employed as an extension of the flat rate of 50 euros from 6 months to a year and 3 years for entrepreneurs under 30 years of age, and women up to 35 years.
After paying 50 euros per month for one year, in the following 6 months, the government will subsidize half of the corresponding quotation, and 30%, during the last six months.
The autonomous Lorca, in addition, can now maintain the aid in social contributions and the flat rate, although hire employees, employees.
If the contracts are indefinite, the bonus of the social contributions will be total.
This is an effective way to create employment because up until now the self-employed person who hired an employee lost the flat rate.
Self-employed workers whose head office is their own domicile, may be deducted in the Income Tax 30% of the expenses of supplies, such as water, electricity and telephony.
This is a proposal that takes into account the growth of teleworking and the power of new technologies.
50% of the fuel costs of the vehicle used in the work activity will also be deducted, 26.67 euros per day for spending on work lunches, and, among other issues, the self-employed will only pay the Social Security contribution from the specific day of the month in which they register.
Fulgencio Gil stressed that the self-employed can register and drop up to 3 times in the same year to reduce fear of failure and stimulate entrepreneurship, lowering administrative obstacles.
For the same reason, the self-employed may change their contribution base up to 4 times in the same year, depending on their interests.
They have also established a battery of improvements in this regime including, among others, changes in the quota of self-employed managers or owners, protection in case of accident 'in itinere', possibility of reconciling the pension with the salary, flat rate 50 euros for mothers who return to work, exemption from Social Security contributions in maternity and paternity, as well as subsidies of social contributions for the hiring of family members.
