The PSOE recalls that last November, they already took to the Congress of Deputies the concern of those affected by the earthquakes that used their aid for the reconstruction of their homes and to which now the Administration asks them to justify their investment.
The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Antonio Navarro recalls that since last November, the Government of Rajoy and the Congress of Deputies is aware of the problem by the return of aid to those affected by earthquakes, after an initiative registered by the PSOE deputy, María González Veracruz.
The PSOE celebrates that this initiative, with which the PSOE took the voice of these people to the Congress of Deputies, is strengthened months later with proposals from other parties, in order to strengthen the claims of the victims who used their aid for the reconstruction of their homes and to which the Administration now asks them to documentary justify their investment.
From the PSOE remember that it was last November 10, 2017 when the Socialist Deputy, Gonzalez Veracruz registered a question to the Government of the Nation asking clarify what actions the Rajoy executive intended to start up the problem generated by the justification of the aid to those affected by the Lorca earthquakes.
A few days ago, the PSOE received a response from the Government of Rajoy in which it was revealed the carelessness of the central executive to this "drama" that affects those affected by the Lorca earthquakes.
In particular, the response of the Government of Spain shows that "hands are washed" to provide possible solutions to this problem, since it leaves the hands of the Autonomous Community, as "granting body" of aid, the responsibility to determine "if applicable" the reimbursement of the amounts received by the beneficiaries of the aid, and the requirement of interest for delay from the moment of the payment of the subsidy, for the reasons and in the manner provided, as stated and affirmed in your response, in Title II of Law 7/2005, of November 18, of Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and the concordant of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies.
It is clear, therefore, that the Government of Rajoy "manifestly and shamelessly disregards" this problem and therefore focuses all eyes on the regional executive, who according to the central government is responsible for solving this problem.
From the PSOE criticize the government of Rajoy their insensitivity to the problem still suffered by those affected by earthquakes, and regrets that now, instead of providing solutions, just pass the ball "from one roof to another", sheltering the "nooks and crannies" of the legal provisions of regional scope by which the granting of these aids was regulated.
