The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Andrea Periago has proposed the creation of a network of lactation rooms, starting with the public buildings of the municipality of Lorca.

Periago says that these spaces would be used to meet the needs of the baby both by municipal workers and those nursing mothers or parents who care for their children, and go to the Consistory and other public agencies to perform any administrative management.

The socialist mayor considers this conciliatory measure "very important", to make available to mothers and fathers, workers and users a place to meet the needs of both nursing mothers and their own children.
