The Councilor for Equality of the City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martínez, presented this morning the extensive program organized by the City Council, with the help of a large number of local groups, to commemorate the "International Women's Day" to be held The 8th of March.
Juan Francisco Martinez has pointed out that "under the motto" 365 days in equality ", the Department of Equality has created the most comprehensive, vindictive, participative and plural programming of recent years with the intention of proclaiming a message of equality that will deeply affect the conscience of our society, and what better way to do it in the hand of 31 social collectives that actively participate in this campaign with the aim that it becomes an instrument in favor of equal opportunities and awareness of the role of the woman in society. "
Councilman Equality indicated that "what is intended through this campaign is to disseminate and make visible the contributions and contributions of different types of women in various areas of our society.

El Edil de Igualdad, finally, has wanted to encourage all Lorca to enjoy and participate in the activities that make up the program to commemorate the "International Women's Day" to make all together a more just and equal Lorca.
