This advance comes a year and a half after the PSOE requested it in the plenary session of September 2016. In addition, it remains pending that the commission of economic and tax claims, also requested by the PSOE.
The spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca has celebrated that the municipal full yesterday approved the progress for the constitution of the special commission of suggestions, proposed by the PSOE in September 2016. This advance, therefore, comes a year and a half later that the Lorca socialists promoted this initiative in the plenary session of the City Council.
Similarly, the PSOE also requested a few months ago the creation of the Economic and Tax Claims Commission, another organ of "zero cost" participation that is contemplated in the regulation of large cities and that, as demonstrated, the Popular Party continues breaking.
The delay in the constitution of both organs of participation and protection of the rights of citizens, shows the lack of disposition of the local PP when it comes to complying with its own regulations and of deepening transparency, citizen participation and the improvement of their capacity to respond to errors, omissions or abuses of the local administration.
