The PP had not met with its neighbors for years.

The complaint made by IU has paid off and its councilor, Gloria Martín, has personally verified that the actions requested a year ago for her political training have been carried out

After making a new visit to Campo López last weekend, the councilor of IU-Greens, Gloria Martin, has shown his satisfaction because the municipal government team has carried out the actions claimed for their political training for this district.

In February of 2017, Martín denounced that the PP Government team had been "years" without meeting with the neighborhood association to address the needs of the parish, so their requests were accumulated that were "modest" but necessary for their well-being.

Specifically, Martin requested a "scheduled and more assiduous" cleaning of the workers of the municipal company, LIMUSA, who only worked in the area when they were required by the neighbors.

Also demanded the closure of an illegal dump in the vicinity of the town and measures to prevent new accumulations of rubble and garbage.

On the only access road to the hamlet, Martín has confirmed that resurfacing work has been undertaken to correct its sorry state of conservation.

Maintenance work has also been performed in the peripheral health clinic, gerontogimnasia devices have been placed next to the playground and wooden tables have been installed next to the sports track in order to create a small picnic area, all of which are requested in writing by Izquierda Unida on February 15, 2017.

For all these reasons, Martín thanked the municipal government team for his interest, which he has encouraged to turn to the severely depopulated councils of the municipality such as Campo López, where only a score of residents "who are also taxpayers" are already residing.

In this regard, he has requested that the City Council study the possibility of promoting activities and establishments related to sustainable rural tourism so that "the town can recover life".
