The Ministry of the Presidency and Development has completed the construction of the sidewalks of the Alameda de Cervantes de Lorca from the Oval to the train tracks, which have an area of 4,000 square meters, as announced today by the General Director of Planning of the Territory, Architecture and Housing, Laura Sandoval, during the supervision of the action carried out by the Autonomous Community, in which she stressed that "we have streamlined this part of the work in order to facilitate the transit of pedestrians during Holy Week."
Laura Sandoval reported that the renovation of the Isidro Salvatierra street, which is the route where traffic is diverted during Holy Week, has also been completed.
In addition, work has begun on the 'El Gato' roundabout, with the replacement of the Taibilla pipeline, which will release the rainwater to avoid problems with its accumulation in the future, and has begun the integral renovation of the Embroidery Ros Square.
The regeneration works of the Alameda de Cervantes have a regional investment of 3.2 million euros, which highlights the construction of two roundabouts along the avenue that will speed up traffic in this central street.
