The second deputy spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Isidro Abellán has once again demanded the establishment of a second office of Citizen Services of General Character (OCAG), known as "one-stop shop" in the municipality of Lorca.

Abellán says it is still surprising that while in Lorca, with an extension of 1,675 km2, 39 districts and more than 90,000 inhabitants, "we only have a single window" located in the Merced Complex, in the neighboring municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, with an area of ​​144.8 km2 and a population of approximately 14,000 inhabitants, there are two of these offices, one in the urban area and the other in the district of Esparragal.

Abellán insists that the case of Puerto Lumbreras should serve as an example for Lorca to install new points of general attention, both in the urban area itself, and especially in the most populated and remote districts, with the dual purpose of bringing the Administration to those citizens of Lorca who have the most difficult access to it, and alleviate the pressure on the only existing service in the municipality. "

The socialist deputy spokesman has shown that, usually, the single window of Lorca is "collapsed", precisely "to have only this point of general attention for the entire municipality of Lorca."

In addition, warns that the usual collapses have been accentuated with the increase in activity in this office, following the claims that those affected by earthquakes are dealing with the problem of the justification of the aid.
