From the Consistory Lorca want to convey a message of tranquility in terms of the survival of Puntas de Calnegre.
The Government Team continues to work on finding a definitive solution that will help preserve, as is already being done in recent years, that rich environment that is the Calnegre Point Village, which is not going to be demolished
The spokesman of the Municipal Government Team, Francisco García, informed this morning that the Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, is going to ask the Secretary of State for the Environment to receive the residents of the Calnegre Point Village to continue working together and looking for real and definitive solutions to this problem that affects part of the population of Lorca.
Francisco García explained that "the Town Council of Lorca and the Government Team have a firm commitment to the Calnegre Point Village." If the Calnegre Point Village is not demolished, it is because this Town Hall prevented it a few years ago despite the insistence of the Demarcation of Costs of the State, then governed by the Socialist Party. The neighbors, hand in hand with the City Council, have prevented that demolition, achieving that a space of so much social, neighborhood and ethnological value is still standing ".
The Municipal Spokesman said that "from the Lorca Consistory we want to convey a message of tranquility regarding the survival of Puntas de Calnegre." We are still working on finding a definitive solution that will help to preserve, as it has been done in recent years, that rich environment that is the Village of Puntas de Calnegre, which is not going to be demolished.
