The Councilor for Sports of the City of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas, presented this morning with Felio Ruiz, organizer of the Creative Arts, Physical Activity and Sports Contest, "CREASPORT", the second edition of this event.
Bayonas recalled that "last year the idea of ​​launching this event that was very well received both nationally and internationally, in fact, received a total of 224 jobs in the photography section from Spain, Uruguay, Argentina, Peru , Cuba, Uganda, or Israel, in the story section, participated 156, arrived from Spain, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Dominican Republic, or Venezuela, among others 29 were the participating short films, for example, from Spain, Brazil, Germany, Russia, Iran, France, Estonia, or Chile. "
The mayor of Sports has once again highlighted "the importance of consolidating a contest that allows two worlds as dynamic in our town as culture and sports come together again a year thanks to this initiative."
The objective of this contest, convened by the FORUM of Physical Education and Sports of Lorca in collaboration with the Department of Sports of the City of Lorca, is to offer a channel of communication between the worlds of art and physical activity, so close by its plastic and expressive character.
For his part, Felio Ruiz, organizer of CREASPORT has stressed that this event, will pursue, for the second year in a row, "open a window to artistic expression collecting the beauty of sporting activities, their stories, their moments of glory or failure, his educational wealth ".
As for the contest's bases: those who wish to participate, of any nationality or residence, may participate.
The stories will be written in prose and in Spanish, be original and unpublished and have not been previously awarded in any other contest.
They can send their proposals until Saturday, June 30, and the works must be submitted, exclusively, by email at creasportrelato@gmail.com.
The jury will be integrated by professionals from the world of literature and physical-sports activity.
Its opinion will be unappealable, being able to declare the prize deserted if it considers that the presented works do not have the necessary quality, that will value "mainly the creativity, the originality, the literary quality and the content of the story adjusted to the object of this call".
The prize in short story mode will consist of 1,000 euros and the contest's trophy.
In the modality of short film there will be a 'Free Prize' of 1,000 euros and the contest's trophy, and four finalists will be chosen.
There will be a 'DXT Lorca Award' of 200 euros and a diploma for Lorca filmmakers or residents in Lorca.
The work must be shot at least 60% in the city.
'Special Audience Prize' valued at 200 euros and a diploma.
Regarding the modality of digital photography, this year the best collection of photographs will be awarded, consisting of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5. The collections must be submitted through the email creasportfoto@gmail.com, the prize awarded being an amount of 1,000 euros.
The attendees to the screenings will choose this award among all the works selected to contest: 'Accésit' to the best original script plus diploma, to better photography plus diploma, best original soundtrack plus diploma, best male plus diploma, and best female performance plus diploma .
The prizes of the different CREASPORT competitions will be known during the months of September-October and the delivery will take place in an act included in the program of the 40th edition of Guadalentín Sports Games.
