The Councilor for United Left-Greens of Lorca, Gloria Martin has publicly thanked the regional deputies Isabel Casalduero (PSRM-PSOE) and María Giménez (Podemos) their "sensitivity" to those affected by the return of aid for the earthquakes of 2011 in Lorca.
Martín explained that, at the request of the affected platform, yesterday he sent emails to the regional deputies of Lorca Francisco Jódar and Fernando López Miras (PP), to Casalduero and Giménez, in order to promote in the Assembly the presentation of a motion that can solve your problem.
The proposed agreements are in line with the motion approved unanimously in the municipal plenary last September at the initiative of IU-Verdes Lorca.
Specifically, it is requested that, ex officio, the Regional Administration leave without effect those requirements that affect beneficiaries of aid whose procedure has prescribed or expired, so that it proceeds to the file archiving and its effective communication to the interested parties.
The second point asks that the extreme difficulty of the neighbors to submit, so many years later, invoices and proof of payment, the regional administration proceed to perform the justifications through technical inspections that show that the aid money was used in the repair works of damaged homes.
Only Casalduero and Giménez have responded to the letter, the first one to communicate that the Socialist Group will present a motion that will include, among others, the requests of the affected platform, and the second to show the support of its formation to the agreements.
Martín has been able to verify that this same morning Isabel Casalduero has withdrawn the initiative that she presented in November of 2017 before the Table of the Assembly for which she requested the "study and takes into consideration the flexibilization of the deadlines given to those affected to justify the subsidies. "
According to Martín, said proposal "although positive, it was insufficient" and for that reason he was grateful that the deputy had withdrawn her, "foreseeably to present a more ambitious motion that contributes to definitively put an end to the uncertainty and fear suffered by those affected."
