Lorca manages to recover the Work Camp thanks to the support of the Regional Government, which will develop in Coy one of the 5 projects of this type that will be carried out this summer in our Region

The Councilor for Youth in the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, has reported that this year the hamlet of Coy recovers its traditional field of work, organized by the Municipal Council in direct collaboration with the Regional Government .. It is to re-organize activities during the summer period that not only contribute to invigorate this parish, but in general the social movement in the highlands.

Agustín Llamas has indicated that it is a field of work that is scheduled to take place during the second half of July and that will have the participation of 20 young people between the ages of 15 and 17 from all over the country. , who will stay at the Casa Grande de Coy hostel.

We must point out that it has cost us a lot to get it, since only 5 have been granted for the entire Region of Murcia.

We are talking about a work in which we had been working for several months.

In fact, we present two alternatives to ensure the realization of this activity, of which the viability of the one that concurred with a sociocultural profile has been guaranteed.

The Youth Edil has anticipated that the actions included in the Field of Work include, among others, creating recreational recreational spaces where socio-cultural activities can be carried out that enhance the dynamisation of different social groups.

They will be developed both in spaces open to the entire population as squares, parks, gardens as well as in specific centers assigned for this activity

Parallel to all these actions, actions will be carried out such as Creative Summer School, Ludo - Plaza, Activities for the elderly and other groups, dinamization of public places at night, dynamization and street theater activities and sports activities.

We must not forget that the work fields give the possibility of participating in activities and tasks that normally do not have the opportunity to do during the rest of the year, and enable young people from different localities and communities to a new and different experience, through of which to know and learn, in tune with values ​​such as coexistence, teamwork and solidarity with the environment
