Ciudadanos de Lorca asks for an audit of the works of Juan Carlos I and that the pending payments are not made or the return of the deposit until the result is known (27/04/2018)

Citizens of Lorca has submitted a letter addressed to the Mayor requesting that the City Council stop the last payments to the UTE of companies awarded these works as long as the deficiencies presented by them are not solved and that it carries out an audit of the remodeling of the Avenida Juan Carlos I and adjacent.

As is known in November 2016 was awarded for 4,979,150 euros, the contract "Drafting the construction project and the execution of the renovation works of the roads, public open spaces and green areas and the infrastructures of urban services, Juan Carlos I avenue and adjacent streets "

Antonio Meca believes that "as in the works of Apolonia-Los Angeles for example, the neighbors are unhappy with the progress of the completion of these works to observe deficiencies in the quality of materials and the execution of finishes" .

The Councilor for Citizens understands that "it must be an external auditor who, together with City Hall officials, verify whether the commitment of the construction company included in the project for the execution of the work coincides with what has been done".
