Students may attend all courses of the ESO presenting their stories in the library "Barnes Pilar" until December 20
The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, has announced that up to December 20 the term is open to participate in the third edition of the Narrative Competition for Secondary Education "Award Angeles Pascual", organized by public libraries.
Peñarrubia stressed that "may participate in the contest all students from schools in the municipality of Lorca and in education between 1 and 4 of the ESO."
The awards are divided, as noted by Councilman "in two categories: on one hand the Group A, for students enrolled in 1 and 2 of the ESO, and on the other Group B, for students aged 3 and 4 º ESO. "
For each of the categories will be three prizes, consisting of lots of books worth 200 euros, 100 euros and 75 euros respectively, and diplomas may also be granted diplomas and lots of books valued at 50 euros a work which the jury considers finalists, up to 3 per group.
Similarly, shall also be lots of books to schools belonging to the students won the first prize.
To participate, Councilman of Education has stated that "it is only necessary to submit stories, free theme and a minimum of two pages and a maximum of three Pilar Barnes Library."
Papers should be submitted typed and double spaced on one side of A4, and delivered in a big, specifying the same title of the story and group it belongs to (A or B).
Within this envelope will be closed with another small competitor data (name, grade, school, group and job title).
Finally, Peñarrubia recalled that "the literary contest is a tribute to LA Pascual, history professor of the institutes and Ros Martin Ibáñez Giner, Director of the Municipal Library for more than 30 years' adopted daughter, Lorca and loved and respected by few students had the pleasure of spending for their classrooms.
