This is an investment of 200,000 euros sponsored by the City.

Improvements have been introduced within the original project started months ago, as the arrangement of parking and the installation of safety.

Action is funded by the CARM.

The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, has reported that the works of mating in the arena of college Pérez de Hita, located in the barrio of La Vina, this week reached 80%.

Peñarrubia explained that this is a project promoted by the city council that represents an investment of 200,000 euros.

The document includes both the draft and the execution of the works of removal of land, implementation of indoor sports court outer packaging parcel resulting in the Public School Pérez de Hita.

Peñarrubia has detailed that this is a new investment in improving the educational infrastructure of our municipality, which in this case directly benefit the educational community with the center.

The Councillor for Education has indicated that this new sports facilities will be enjoyed directly by the educational community of Pérez de Hita.

The building under construction has a size of 45x25 meters and is available to students early next February.

Currently the school has referred 564 students, including those corresponding to the cycles of childhood and primary education.

The original project has benefited from improvements, most notably the design of a parking area for vehicles (including improved access to the tarmac and integral), and installing the pillars of an anti -impact that enhances the security of their users in case of incidents.

It is the intention of the City Council that the school use harmonizes with the locals, as is being done in other facilities of the same type.

This new investment by the council joins others also performed in the neighborhood of La Viña, as has been the design of a parking area at the request of the merchants of the neighborhood, the adequacy of a recreation area in the promenade of Las ladies (which represents an investment of 90,000 euros) and the comprehensive renovation and improvement is carried through the neighborhood park, one of the most emblematic of the area (an action which involves an investment of 240,000 euros the most ambitious in the history of the Vineyard).
