The number two in the socialist candidate in municipal elections, Rafael Ruiz, has reported today that the PP government team spent nearly one million pesetas in three meals to entertain eight Chinese businessmen.
This is the Asian delegation that visited last July the El Churtal, near Parish, where purportedly will launch the China Investment Special Zone (ZEIC).
Ruiz showed the relationship of obligations recognized by the Local Government chaired Francisco Jodar, which appears the bill for a "dinner with the delegation of China" that cost the city coffers to the tune of 3,100 euros.
It also appears further invoice for Hotel Don Juan de Aguilas in the amount of 1,555 euros, and a third of 1,135 euros for meals also Asian entrepreneurs.
In total, only three meals, the City has disbursed nearly one million pesetas.
Rafael Ruiz has criticized the hypocrisy of Jódar, "who was talking mouth full of austerity and then spent 3,100 euros on a meal."
In that sense, the socialist candidate was asked what he ate Mr. Jódar and Council of the PP, along with the eight Chinese businessmen to pay more than half a million pesetas at a dinner.
Ruiz also criticized that eight months after the visit, "there has not heard anything from complex investments."
