During the whole week (until Friday March 18) the IES Ramón Arcas organizes events to celebrate the European Day for the prevention of cardiovascular risk.
The objectives of this conference are to analyze the factors to be considered in cardiovascular risk, identifying and defining areas of action to prevent, propose strategies for its prevention and, above all, make known to students, faculty center, and any concerned citizen, the problems surrounding this disease.
For them, the planned activities have experts from healthcare to the educational context and develop learning skills workshops on cardiovascular risk.
Diseases affecting the cardiovascular system remain the leading cause of death in our country.
"Although the risk increases with age in men and women, the good news is that in almost all cases we have time to give more health to our heart and our arteries," said Juan Ortuño, PE teacher and organizer of the conference .
The formula for doing this is so easy that we all know: balanced diet with less fat, low salt, no alcohol, exercise everyday, less kilos and no snuff.
That is what is now raised to implement students and teachers of IES Ramón Arcas.
