The general director of Public Safety and Emergency Luis Gestoso, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, inaugurated this morning the new Territorial Security Center built in the district of Puri Lorca.

The said property investment of 225,000 euros, of which 200,000 have been provided by the regional administration.

It is a building of 265 square meters that will house a staff of 12 members of the Local Police of Lorca, to meet the needs of 5,000 citizens, residents of the provincial Lorca Puri, Campillo, listening and watering places.

The general director of Public Safety and Emergency stressed the importance of the new facility "that will allow an increased police presence in their area of ​​operation and faster response to the demands of citizens."

Gest agreed with the Mayor of Lorca in "the commitment to improving public safety" and congratulated the City Council of the municipality for the construction of this building.
