The government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jódar visited today called House of NGOs, a building that houses the headquarters of 24 associations in the municipality that has not had a place where you can hold their activities.
The works were undertaken by the municipality of Lorca E Plan of the Government of Spain, which has provided a total of over 480,000 euros which in turn made possible the hiring of 12 people in Lorca by building the center.
The building is located next to the school Ana Caicedo, has an area of ​​700 square meters and is built on a municipal plot of 2,000 square meters.
Inside has room for an auditorium, two meeting rooms, fitness center, two workshops and activities rooms, toilets, male, female and disabled, storage room, reception hall and offices.
It is also perfectly suited for people with reduced mobility to access all of its dependencies.
The delegate of the Government has argued that the Government of Spain is "particularly sensitive to associations related to nonprofit organizations because they perform essential work for disadvantaged people."
So - underlined - "the least we can do is help these organizations to carry out their work with passion and dedication with which they do."
In addition, Gonzalez Tovar has highlighted the good sense that had the City of Lorca at the time of joining the headquarters of these organizations into one, with a corresponding savings that is both a city coffers and to the NGOs.
The College of Alfonso X kindergarten become Civic Center
The Government delegate also visited the proposed restructuring of the kindergarten building Alfonso X College to become a Cultural and Civic Center that will serve the citizens of the district of San José and Cheap Houses.
Tovar González pointed out that these works have been funded exclusively with state funds of the Plan E for a total of more than 325,000 euros, which in turn made possible the creation of 40 direct jobs in the city of Lorca.

Rafael González Tovar recalled that the "Plan E of the central government aims to bring its policies to the government closer to citizens."
In this sense, Lorca profit of 25.6 million euros donated by the Government of Spain, which will finance a total of 108 projects and are providing employment for 2,362 people.
