Lorca Park La Viña, now opened to the public after the renovation carried out, includes a new area for older gerontogimnasia the neighborhood, new petanque courts, among other improvements.
The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, opened the park, the reform has been fully funded by the Autonomous Community of 240,000 euros.
The performance is done on an area of ​​6,200 square meters and includes new and improved lighting, a playground completely renovated, new furniture, as well as improving the sports schedule and maintenance of all existing trees.
The renovated park also has a perimeter fence surrounding the entire premises as well as pavers and albero in its central part for better aesthetics and cleaning more affordable.
Beds have also been enabled with vegetation and artificial turf, among other actions.
This is one of the most ambitious actions carried out in this neighborhood, a project that has had and that includes the suggestions made by the inhabitants, in order to make them more pleasant to use and enjoy this public infrastructure.
