The Councillor for Sports, Francisco Montiel, has reported that between the morning of Tuesday April 12 and Wednesday 13 April will be held at the athletics track of the local phase Torrecilla school athletics in junior category.
A total of 600 students from the following schools in Lorca: Colegio San Francisco, Colegio Madre de Dios, CEIP San Cristobal, Ros IES Giner, IES Martín Ibáñez, IESO Sierra de Almenara, IES Ramón Arcas, IES No. 6 and IES Prince of Asturias.
The tests are as follows: 1000 meter dash, long jump, high jump, shot put and 80 meters.
The trials will begin at 10:00 h.
The competition is organized by the Sports Department in collaboration with schools in the locality.
In this phase the local school will represent the regional phase Lorca, to be held in San Javier on 20 May.
