Councilman PSOE in Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has returned to denounce the conditions faced by educational communities in various municipalities.
Mateos has shown particular concern over the delay in construction of the pavilion Campillo Early Childhood Education and the school of Directors, whose students are taking classes in portable classrooms from last year at a facility "very poor" and "very accessible."
The socialist mayor fears the start of construction of the renovation of these schools is delayed at least a year because the economic situation in the Autonomous Community of Murcia is among the worst in Spain, with a deficit of higher, which prevents it from going into debt for funding.
Matthew recalled that the system envisaged by the regional government for the construction of these two centers is "deferred payment", outside the regional budget, so it may fail to start running until the end of the year.
This will involve students from these schools have to start the academic year 2011-2012 in the appalling conditions in which they are now.
Mateos said that the education budget "can not continue to express" and criticized the cuts applied by the regional government of the PP in this area.
In this context, the PSOE mayor pointed out that the planned investments in the education budget for 2011 "are practically nonexistent and is maintained for emergency action framework."
Councilman PSOE Mayor again urged the PP, Francisco Jodar, that "to assert the needs of Lorca Murcia to their heads and demand that justice is for us."
