Next Friday, April 29, from 18:00 Lorca Young Socialists organized the First Edition of 'Pedanias's Rock', a competition for new bands, which aims to encourage music making among young people rural and whose benefits will go also to the youth association of the parish that welcomes the competition.
In this sense, the entrance to the concert is free and will be the collection of drinks that will go to the Youth Association that assists in organizing it.
In this case, it will be multi-purpose hall of the deputation of Zarzadilla de Totana which perform the musical event.
Subsequent editions were held in other districts of Lorca.
The competition will feature a specialized jury.
The winning band will win a cash prize of 300 euros, while the second and third places will get a lot of local produce.

The contest rules are posted on the Facebook profile of Socialist Youth of Lorca.
For the secretary general of this organization, Ana Belén Hilario, the goal of the contest is "to promote the bands of young people living in rural areas, as well as getting an increase and improvement in the musical culture in our municipality."
