The Department of Health will use the stands of the Craft Fair, thanks to the collaboration of the Chamber of Commerce, which will stimulate more the center of the city and increase the number of exhibitors reducing costs.
The Councillor for Health of the City of Lorca, Antonia Lopez, this morning the fourth edition of the Healthy Lorca, to be held on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 at the Plaza Calderon, between the hours of 10 to 14 h and 17 to 21 h, increasing the number of exhibitors over the previous edition.
Lopez explained that, as in the three years this event has been held, all Lorca who wish may make different medical tests free of charge (blood pressure, glucose, anthropometry, spirometry, glycosylated hemoglobin, ...), thanks to collaboration of 15 organizations and companies that have placed their stands at the new headquarters of this activity that seeks to promote health and healthy lifestyles, to disseminate the positive and negative factors that affect daily life, such as nutrition.
Planned activities at the fair include four lectures will begin at 19:00 pm in the Cultural Hall of the street Cajamurcia Pius XII, dedicated to sexually transmitted diseases and sports medicine on the first day, while the second day of antibiotics and smoking cessation.
In addition, visitors can taste fruits and vegetables and participating in sweepstakes spa treatments and spa's in the region.
For its part, the Department of Health will provide visitors with information on the different campaigns for health promotion and information campaigns conducted by the municipal area (SIDA, Snuff and Drugs).
Health Councilmember Chamber of Commerce thanked the transfer of the stands of the Craft Fair, which will further boost the downtown and increase the number of exhibitors reducing costs.
