The Ministry of Health reports that it has proceeded to leave the Hospital Rafael Méndez de Lorca as a precaution before the two earthquakes this afternoon in the town, the first one of 4.5 degrees on the Richter scale intensity .
This decision was taken by consensus between the Ministry and the direction of the Health Area III of Lorca, to where owner has moved the Health, María Ángeles Palacios, along with part of his team after the news.
Health has activated a special plan for the evacuation of the hospital to the possibility of another earthquake to ensure attention to all those hospitalized and those injured by the earthquake.
Thus, it is analyzing the availability of hospital beds in the Autonomous Community of the eight remaining areas of Health, for any patient can receive healthcare.
