"The city of Lorca suffered yesterday in one of the worst disasters in living memory.
The impact produced by the terrible earthquake has taken the lives of 9 people so far and has caused hundreds of injuries.
Has plagued the city, destroying much of our historic and artistic heritage has produced very serious damage in many buildings and infrastructure throughout the City and other areas of the municipality and has tested our citizenship and civics, each offering the best he had .
Thus, in accordance with the statement at a meeting of spokespersons, as a matter of urgency, has met today, share the following agreements:
FIRST .- To transmit to the bereaved families the grief and pain of the people of Lorca and the Corporation, and wish a speedy recovery from numerous injuries.
SECOND .- To adhere to the statement made by the Hon.
President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, in the sense of declaring three days of official mourning in the Region of Murcia.
THIRD .- Consider the vital need to establish the appropriate agreements with the various authorities that enable all the mechanisms and channels of aid to the most serious incident occurred.
FOURTH .- Order of the Government of Spain and of all governments of the Autonomous Communities and the European Union, the maximum assistance that can provide very important to mitigate the damages of any kind, caused by the earthquake.
FIFTH .- The Municipality of Lorca make appropriate representations to both the Consortium of Insurance, in its scope, as the financial institutions on their own, collaborate on solving the problems that concerned about the situation in which they occur.
SIXTH .- Thank lasa aid, immediately, was received from the Government of Spain, Comunidad Autónoma de Murcia and municipalities and other public and private companies and technical professionals who have immediately given altruistically, all this to help the victims of an urgent and collaborate in the work of clearing, humanitarian organization and all that is soothing to the people of Lorca at this difficult time.
SEVENTH .- To express the conviction that together we will overcome this most serious test, which reinforce our sense of community.
