The Ministry of Justice and Public Safety, through the General Directorate of Public Safety and Emergency is coordinating mental health care to the victims of the earthquakes in Lorca and to that end, has installed a Psychological Service Office on campus Santa Quiteria fairgrounds, next to the camp which is home to more people.
Psychologists throughout the Region of Murcia are collaborating in this task, which is to help people who do not want to return to their homes for fear that scared because relive the past traumatic experience and / or suffer anxiety attacks.
They also help parents who have found anomalous behavior in their children.
Similarly, go to old people's homes to treat both residents and staff working in them.
So far it has treated around 330 people.
At first, the psychological attention had focused on the families of those killed in the earthquake.
Has subsequently been extended to all victims in need, for which information is distributed in the camps on the existence of the Psychological Services Office, currently located in the said trade fair.
