The socialist candidate for mayor, Manuel Soler, Cajamar today welcomed the decision of the Executive Committee to grant a moratorium of at least one year to individuals affected by the earthquakes of Lorca and customers of the entity that require action immediate assistance to alleviate the difficult situation they encounter.
Manuel Soler asked on Sunday to Banks and a deferral of payment of mortgages and loans to those affected by the two earthquakes in Lorca on 11 May.
In that sense, Soler won the commitment of the Government's economic Vice President, Elena Salgado, to mediate with banks to get this moratorium, for now, has been applied by Cajamar.
"The Cajamar gesture is commendable and should spread the example, said Soler."
The resolution adopted by the entity authorized to Cajamar offices to implement a moratorium on principal and interest on at least one year for mortgages on primary residence of the victims.
This measure may benefit more than 1,500 transactions totaling more than 150 million euros, which may postpone mortgage payments a minimum of one year extendable term depending on personal circumstances in which each customer is.
The entity does not charge any expense and will ask the notary to apply the minimum amount for the conversion.
In addition, the Executive Committee Cajamar Caja Rural has authorized the granting of personnel security operations up to 12,000 euros without the intervention of attorney to meet loan repayments from other operations, such as vehicles, consumer finance, etc..

These measures are in addition to special financing lines launched last week to individuals for overhead, advances of grants, rehabilitation of homes and buildings, to communities and businesses owners, small businesses, professionals and freelancers.
