The socialist candidate for mayor of Lorca, Manuel Soler, has publicly expressed its appreciation to the Central Union of Irrigation Tajo-Segura (Scrats) the adoption of the "Lorca cent supportive."

Manuel Soler has appreciated this gesture of solidarity and closeness to the residents of Lorca by a body which has been strongly linked as a member of the Board of Governors for the past seven years until last February when he left his office to focus on the race for mayor of Lorca.

The Central Union of Irrigation Aqueduct Tajo-Segura agreed unanimously by the Board of Governors, expressing the support and cooperation in the recovery tasks Lorca, for which they have adopted "a voluntary fee of one euro cent per cubic meter called 'a penny solidarity by Lorca.''

This applies to the consumption of water from any source that occur from the month of May until 31st December and will be liquidated by this entity.

During this period, is considered to be consumed about 200 hm 3, so the amount you get will reach a sum of nearly two million euros.
