The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, thanked their cooperation to the president of this entity that will invest in this book more than 2 million resulting from the introduction of "solidarity with Lorca cent per m3" in the collection of irrigation water in Alicante , Murcia and Almeria.
The Central Union of Irrigation Tajo-Segura restored Convento de Santa Ana and Magdalena de Clares, the only remaining cloistered convent in Lorca, destroyed by the earthquakes that struck the city on 11 May.
The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, thanked their cooperation to the president of this institution, José Manuel Claver, which will invest in this book more than 2 million resulting from the introduction of "solidarity with Lorca cent per m3", to be charged to irrigators of Alicante, Murcia and Almeria assigned to this grouping of Irrigation Communities.
Jódar expressed his satisfaction that "the slogan 'All with Lorca' still working and companies and organizations are joining with initiatives like this to rebuild the city."
Claver said that "with this action we come to return to the town of Lorca part of the solidarity they have shown us for years."
