IU-Greens today supported the Community's request for additional margin deficit with which to cope with the damage caused by earthquakes in Lorca and stated that "following the same logic, the unemployment rate and the regional economy are also "exceptional situations" to claim the increase.

According to the regional coordinator of IU-Greens, José Antonio Pujante, is "more than justified" the request for an increase in the deficit target, provided that this margin serves to, in this order, rebuild Lorca with "full transparency" to maintain services basic public and promote a paradigm shift that generates productive employment.

"We support an increase in the deficit for the region to rebuild Lorca, and also consider an exceptional situation that more than 192,000 people are unemployed in this community," added the leader of the leftist federation.
