The Governing Council has approved an agreement between the region and the Ministry of Education, which allocate a sum of two million euros to carry out repairs to public schools in the municipality of Lorca affected by earthquakes and the replacement of furniture and school supplies.
The work was carried out by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, as a matter of urgency, in the coming months.
The earthquake caused damage in several schools now closed, and whose students have been transferred to other centers that are taught in the afternoon.
These are the colleges of Education and Primary José Robles, Sacred Heart, San Fernando and Virgen de las Huertas, the flags of primary schools and San Jose Alfonso X and institutes Ros Francisco Giner, Martín Ibáñez and Ramón Arcas .
