Valcárcel was speaking after visiting the Monastery of Santa Ana and Santa Maria Magdalena of the Order of the Poor Clares of Scrats with President José Manuel Claver, and the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, José Manuel Lorca Planes.
The acting chairman of the Community stressed that "the irrigator is integral because it's in the soul, because he knows that it is also part of the solidarity of others when the water is distributed in a manner supportive."
The reconstruction of the monastery, destroyed by the earthquake on May 11, will be funded through the Scrats centime solidarity 'made by the irrigators of Murcia, Alicante and Almeria, which, according Valcárcel, demonstrates "the overwhelming generosity of irrigators. "
