The meeting aims to promote the standardization of business and trade in the municipality after the earthquake
The Ministry of Universities, Business and Research organized next October, the XI General Assembly of the Association of Regional Development Agencies (RDA) of Spain and the first Ibero-American Meeting of ADR, to be held in Lorca and bring together more than a hundred agency heads from Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
This initiative, managed by the Department through the Institute of Development (info), is aimed at promoting the event in Sun City to promote the standardization of business and trade in the municipality after the earthquake suffered last month.
This is precisely one of the points agreed by the Bureau of Standards convened for that purpose and signed by the Community, the municipality of Lorca, the Regional Confederation of Organizations of Lorca (Ceclor), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Lorca professional economists and graduates of Mercantile.
Councilor Marin noted that "as we entered at the Bureau of Standards of Business and Commercial Activity Lorca, from the regional government are promoting the celebration of all kinds of events in the municipality in order to streamline the business and commercial, as is the case of this important forum for international cooperation. "
International collaboration between institutions
At the meeting, to be held on 10 and 11 October, the Spanish Association of ADR will sign a membership agreement with Latin American counterparts, among which are development agencies in Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina and Chile to promote a platform for collaboration and exchange of good practices between European and Latin American regions that contribute to the development and strengthening of transatlantic relations.
This agreement also involved international institutions to support SMEs, such as ILS LEDA Programme United Nations Foundation FaedPyme.
These entities will extend the generation of sustainable and durable these links for professionals in Europe and Latin America, in addition to the agencies, with the dual aim of promoting the transfer of experiences and facilitate cooperation projects.
The Spanish Association of ADR is composed of autonomous agencies with responsibility for regional development of the 17 communities and two autonomous cities.
Its aim is to contribute to policy planning and activities related to entrepreneurship, advanced funding, innovation, information technology and communication, international cooperation and training.
