Less than a month after the earthquake of May 11, Lorca Castle opened its doors with a medieval market.
The visitors enjoyed more than 40 handicraft stalls, both coming from different places like Lorca, falconry display, pony rides, children's workshops, medieval characters and a bouncy castle for children.
Many media outlets were interested in reopening the castle and La 7 Region of Murcia, local TV, the news on Spanish TV and Radio Marca, which broadcast live afternoon program of "Intermediate", in which figures were interviewed local and regional sports.
The solidarity of the visitors towards Lorca became a highlight through voluntary contributions could be made to the entrance of La Fortaleza del Sol for the account "Solidarity For Lorca."
Visitors came from various places, noting the influx of foreigners in the day on day 8 and the high number of Lorca who decided to check in situ the state of the Castle on 9 evening.
After this successful reopening of the Castle will continue with the schedule prepared for the month of June:

- During the week will also be visiting The Fortress of the Sun through audio-guided tour for their presentations.
