The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, received this morning is the result of a cooperative donation of products created by students with the initial objective of raising funds for their trip.
The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has this morning received a donation for those affected by earthquakes in the hands of students in grades 5 Elementary School Sun City, who have sought through the creation of a union-made products 650 €, originally intended to use to pay for his trip.
This fifty students created the cooperative screeds they sold bracelets, headbands, soaps, ... both in school as a student meeting in Murcia.
Jódar stressed that "this is the biggest show of solidarity that Lorca has been all this time, because although there have been larger amounts, the efforts and sacrifices of these children is priceless."
This money will go to the account that the city of Lorca has opened in the Banco de Santander and is being managed by the Bureau for Development.
