The registration period ends on June 28 |

The council's Policy Staff of the municipality of Lorca, Mari Carmen Ruiz, has encouraged older people of our city to benefit from the offer proposed by the holiday program for more Imserso.

Jódar Ruiz said that travel is a different type posed to older people to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

4 modes have been raised within the program as:

1) stays in coastal areas to rest and relax.

2) Cultural Tours to delve into the history and art of Spain.

3) Nature Tourism, with routes through picturesque landscapes.

4) Exchange with other countries.

The Mayor Councillor explained that the conditions for participation are to be resident in Spain are to meet one of the following requirements:

- Be over 65 years.

- Be retirement pensioner public pension system.

- Be aged widow's pension equal to or greater than 55 years.

- Be disability pensions, other pensions or early retirement and have 60 years of age.

Jódar Ruiz noted that, in addition, may participate with a spouse who is not demanding requirements.

May also benefit children with disabilities with a minimum of 45%, provided the disability allows them to travel and do so with their parents.

The services include these trips are round-trip travel, accommodation on full board in double or single room in hotels concerted and collective insurance policy, medical service and animation.

The mayor noted that the Mayor to sign up for these trips, you must complete an application that is available (temporarily) at the offices of mayor of the municipality, and submit it to Imserso.

The final selection will be communicated to stakeholders in September by letter sent to home address.

Applications must be submitted until next June 28, sending the appropriate form to Imserso, via the Internet and in the office of mayor of the municipality of Lorca.

However the deadline will remain open until December 1 for those who had not made the request at the time, but will be designed to cover any vacancies.
