HRH the Infanta Elena, Project Director, Social and Cultural MAPFRE FOUNDATION, accompanied by the Honorary President of Fundación MAPFRE, Matrán Julio Castelo, and the Director of the Institute for Social Action of that entity, Fernando Garrido Tomé, delivered This morning the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, a check-donation of 250,000 euros to support social and economic revitalization of the municipality, especially small business.
After the ceremony, held at the local council, the Infanta Elena has also met with families affected by the earthquake last May and visited the church of Santiago Apostol and the area of ​​the vineyard, a of the most affected by the earthquake.
The ceremony was also attended by, among others, Maria Isabel Marzal Musso and Vicente Gil Olcina, members of the Territorial Council of MAPFRE in the area, Antonio Exposito, Manager of MAPFRE in Murcia, and Antonio López Prisons, Director of the Office Direct Lorca.
