Councilman Lorca Youth City Council, Agustín Llamas, reported that the hamlet of Coy host a European youth exchange.
Llamas said that "to coincide with this year marks the European Year of Volunteering on days 20-28 of this July we will carry out a European exchange in the hamlet of Coy. This exchange is funded by the European Commission in particular through the "Youth in Action." recognition of this activity is the issue of "Youthpass", a European certification granted to the participants. We anticipate that they will enjoy the experience a total of 10 young Lorca aged between 13 and 17, along with 10 other young Frenchmen and Romanians for a total of 30.
Agustin Llamas said that the exchange will promote multiculturalism and volunteerism, and youth will engage in various types within this topic.
In fact it is expected to volunteer for various initiatives being undertaken in Lorca this summer to help the earthquake-affected Lorca.
