The Governing Council has given the green light to the declaration of emergency works in various health infrastructures in the municipality of Lorca for damages suffered as a result of the earthquakes on 11 May.
Thus, the regional government shall examine the recruitment of those supplies, works and services that are essential, regardless of amount, to do away with the emergency and ensure the safety of citizens and professionals in the Health Service of Murcia.
The intention is to repair and rebuild immediately damage caused by earthquakes in the Hospital Rafael Mendez, the Health Center of Santa Rosa de Lima and San Diego and the Mental Health Center, and the Health Center Vineyard, actions already undertaken.
The total planned actions amounted to 6.9 million euros.
More than 6.1 million to repair infrastructure damaged by earthquakes education
The regional government has analyzed the repair of schools affected by the earthquakes recorded in Lorca, which are currently running repairs amounting to 6,130,000 euros, of which 3,340,000 came from own funds Community.
In total, the repair of all educational infrastructure will exceed 20 million euros.
In terms of actions on transport, strengthening school routes was necessary to enable the operation of schools after the earthquake in completing the academic year 2010-2011, had a cost of 230,000 euros and led to the commissioning up 39 new routes.
These actions of the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, add those aimed at job creation in the municipality.
In particular, have been awarded to date 2,171,074 euros for the development of actions for enhancing local employment, either through local public employment program or through the guidance and assistance program for self-employment.
